Jinzhou Medical University is a national university situated in Jinzhou, Liaoning province, P.R.China. The School of Basic Medical Sciences has been key to establishing JZMU’s national reputation. Its key teaching and research areas include basic medical science, biomedical science and health services. It provides high quality teaching to more than 10,000 undergraduate students and has a proven track record in leading innovative research projects and experiences.
The Roles For Teaching and Research Job
The School of Basic Medical Sciences JZMU is seeking to appoint multiple assistant/associate Professors and PI staff in the areas of basic medical/biomedical/biological sciences. We are also looking to appoint head of research teams/projects.
The post holders will have the opportunity to devise and deliver an ambitious strategy to develop the school’s national class teaching, student experience and research output. The professorial salary will be competitive and commensurate with the experience and academic standing of the post holders. The Head of Department/research teams position attracts an additional responsibility allowance.
About You
Candidates will have a doctorate/PhD degree in biological, biomedical or medical related sciences.
They should be proficient in written and spoken English/Mandarin.
The successful candidates need to have teaching experience in at least one of the following areas: biochemistry, molecular biology, physiology, anatomy, immunology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, cell biology, genetics, pathology, forensic medicine, or related disciplines of basic medical sciences.
Candidates who have PhD teaching experience in the higher education sector or research institute would be an advantage.
